Founded in 2013 by Jay Camille of the Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation, SkyWest began with a small environmental reclamation crew working throughout Alberta’s oil & gas corridors. What started as a single truck and a few shovels has grown into a full-service contractor trusted by Indigenous communities, municipalities, and private industry across Western Canada.
We deliver practical, site-specific services while protecting land integrity, honouring cultural protocols, and helping others meet strict environmental compliance.
